Smarter S3: AI File Creation, Expanded Formats, and Full Traceability

We’re excited to announce major enhancements to Storage Connections, giving you full control over your S3 files directly from MCP-compatible AI applications.

What's New

• Create and Store Files with AI: In addition to reading files, you can now generate new files with AI and save them directly to your connected S3 bucket.
• Expanded Format Support: Read and write a wide range of file types, including text, images, PDFs, spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
• Write Receipts: Every file write now generates a receipt for added transparency and traceability.
• Client Information in Receipts: Receipts now include client details, enabling deeper insights and auditability.
• Ledgered Storage Connections: All storage connections are now recorded on the ledger for complete governance and history.
• Note: To enable file writes, ensure your S3 bucket’s IAM role includes: s3:PutObject
